Terms of Service

Last updated: March 12, 2026

Service Description

VidSyllabus is an AI-powered platform that helps users create personalized learning courses from YouTube videos. Our AI agent searches YouTube, curates content, and organizes it into structured day-by-day learning courses.

User Responsibilities

By using VidSyllabus, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate information when creating your account
  • Use the service for lawful educational purposes only
  • Keep your account credentials secure
  • Respect the intellectual property rights of content creators

Content Ownership

Learning courses you create are your own. You retain ownership of the structure and curation of your courses. However, the videos included in courses remain the property of their respective YouTube creators. When you share a course publicly, other users may fork (copy) it.

AI-Generated Content

Learning courses are generated with the assistance of AI. AI-generated recommendations are provided as suggestions and may not always be perfectly suited to your needs. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or educational effectiveness of AI-generated courses. You should review and curate the content before following any learning course.

YouTube Content

VidSyllabus displays YouTube videos via the official YouTube IFrame API. All video content is owned by the respective creators and is subject to YouTube's Terms of Service. We do not host, download, or modify any video content. Video availability depends on the original creator and YouTube's platform.

Service Availability

VidSyllabus is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the service at any time without prior notice. We are not responsible for any loss of data, though we make reasonable efforts to maintain data integrity.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, VidSyllabus and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you have paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms. We will make reasonable efforts to notify users of significant changes.
